Nurse Sunday Emmanuel is a highly accomplished development professional and health service specialist with over 15 years of experience in clinical care and strategic leadership
Currently serving as the Co-Executive Director and Technical Advisor for the Olive Rights to Health Initiative (ORHI), he leads the design and implementation of comprehensive health programs focused on HIV/AIDS, nutrition, and sexual and reproductive health (SRHR)
His technical expertise is grounded in an MSc in Public Health and BSc degrees in Nursing and Microbiology, which he leverages to oversee complex program monitoring and evaluation systems while providing high-level guidance to project teams.
Throughout his tenure at ORHI, Sunday has demonstrated an exceptional ability to strengthen health systems and empower marginalized communities.
He has successfully managed large-scale HIV interventions achieving 95% viral suppression among over 7,500 clients and has pioneered inclusive healthcare models for key populations, including the performance of cryotherapy for over 400 individuals
His impact extends to institutional leadership as the National Coordinator for NeRCI and a board member for ICTHARAE, where he champions financial transparency, policy advocacy, and the publication of community-driven journals to destigmatize healthcare access across Nigeria
