FOUNDER/CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER | OLIVE RIGHT RIGHT TO HEALTH INITIATIVE

ORUSAKWE C. BONAC is the Chief Executive Officer of Olive Right to Health Initiative, a Nigerian civil society organization dedicated to advancing health equity and protecting the human rights of marginalized and underserved populations. He is a committed public health and human rights advocate with extensive experience in community-based programming, health systems strengthening, and policy advocacy focused on improving access to quality healthcare and justice.

He has over the years led the design and implementation of impactful programs addressing HIV prevention and treatment, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender-based violence prevention, and the protection of key and vulnerable populations. His work combines research, advocacy, community engagement, and capacity building to reduce stigma and discrimination while strengthening access to essential health and social services.

As Chief Executive Officer, he provides strategic leadership and oversight for organizational growth, partnerships, and program development. Under his leadership, Olive Right to Health Initiative continues to expand its reach through evidence-based interventions that empower adolescents and young people, women and girls, people living with HIV, and other underserved communities to live healthier and more dignified lives.

He is passionate about building strong partnerships with government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, and community stakeholders to advance sustainable health and human rights outcomes in Nigeria. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-driven solutions.
